This box is one of the larger in size: 6 ½ square, stands 4" high. A combination of hand-printed paper along with green Japanese character paper. In the middle is inlaid a metal saucer with a persimmon ceramic bead attached. Lining this is back paper with gold embossment. Stunning in its simplicity, quite functional in its size. Box: 2

The more delicate of boxes, 4"x 5" in dimension. Stands 2 ½" off the ground with black feet collaged with hand-printed gold paper. Wavy hand-screened paper of olive, cream, terra cotta and gold. The cover sits upon a black base with a painted and collaged wooden center strip, which holds a metal saucer and green ceramic bead. Very elegant and delicate. Box: 3

This box is fun! Ochre and terra cotta colored sparkly paper lines this box with two levels of book board underneath and collaged feet under that. A playful combination of papers, colors and visual textures with a raised center adorned by black wood and a gold spiral bead. Box: 1

Very elegant with its tall stature. Its striking black feet set it a few inches above the ground. Very Asian in appearance with striking red-screened paper, a cover that holds a metal saucer and sterling painted bead in the center. This box is certainly an altarpiece for any room.
