This small book altar stands like a Japanese table. Wooden feet covered with hand-screened paper along with doors that are lined with painted wooden dowels, metal "saucers" with pearls inside, opens up to reveal a matchbox delicately embellished and inlaid. An accordion book inside with a Rumi poem.

The cover has "doors" with hand printed collographs. Inside is a matchbook embellished with a brass button and a chin colle print. Inside that is a small accordion book with a Yiddish Proverb. This book altar also functions as a box. Beautiful hand printed paper with gold and black accents.

This piece has a dynamic feel to it along with a simplicity that is very appealing. Hand-designed "Paste Paper" with wooden feet lined with striking origami paper. The top is simple with a button and pearl. Inside is a small signature stylebook with text printed on clear paper, collaged and sewn in with silver thread. Entitled "Wisdom Teachings", a variety of poetry from different traditions.

Metal, dowel, and wire attached to foil plate through “cold connection.” This top lifts off to reveal a beautifully embellished matchbox with rich gold. Inside contains an accordion book entitled "Grace."
